video: Jean-Pierre (EWI)
One of my favorite Miles Davis tunes is forming the basis for this EWI demo video.
This is a one chord jam in A. I’ve played it on the gig in Bb (years ago). I like how it sits in A personally. In this one I’m playing all the parts.
This is also the first HD embed I’ve tried so let’s see how that works. The audio only survives YouTube’s violence unmolested in HD format as far as I can tell.
I’ve been quietly improving my bass (keyboard) playing. This is one of my favorites in that respect, but I sometimes feel like I missed my calling as a bass player.
Bass lines sound very solid!
You can see you have some influence of Victor Bailey there!

I bought myself an EWI today, it’s on it’s way, so I’m naturally excited viewing demo’s and reading reviews! :-)
